FAQs for Prospective Students
Updated 3/13/20
Is Regis University open for campus visits?
Yes! While the Office of Admissions is asking visitors to postpone and reschedule their visits if possible, we will accommodate those who already had plans to be on campus the week of March 16 and will host families individually rather than in a group setting for our weekday visit program. We are taking measures to keep our students and visitors safe and healthy, including:
-
Increasing the frequency of facility cleaning services to high-traffic and group congregation areas.
-
Providing information about washing hands and other recommended ways to avoid spreading disease.
-
Eliminating the residence hall stop on the tour. Information on our residence halls will be shared digitally.
-
Distributing hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes to our guests during weekday visits.
-
Capping weekday visits at 15 prospective students and their guests to ensure group sizes do not exceed 45 people.
How can I learn more about the campus without visiting?

In the coming days, we will be posting information about virtual visit opportunities for prospective and admitted students.
Are the March and April Basecamp Regis events still happening?
Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Basecamp Regis Weekends I and II, which were scheduled for March 15-16 and March 29-30. At this time, no changes have been made to the April 19-20 Basecamp Regis event.
For those who still wish to visit campus, we will offer individual campus tours, financial aid appointments and meetings with admissions counselors. For those unable to attend a later Basecamp Regis, we’re working to develop opportunities to connect admitted students to campus in other ways, including scheduling virtual appointments to review financial aid and answer any other questions you may have.
Will I be refunded for the Basecamp event fee?
Yes. Refunds have been initiated for all Basecamp Regis Weekends l and ll registrants. Refunds may take 7 – 10 business days to process back to an individual’s account.
Is the April Admitted Student Day still happening?
Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to postpone our Admitted Student Day, which was scheduled for Sunday, April 5.
We are planning to reschedule our Admitted Student Day for a future date that is yet to be determined. Details about the new date will be forthcoming — we hope to see you there!
Are you still accepting applications?
Absolutely! We are still accepting applications and offering scholarships. Currently, we do not anticipate any disruptions to our Fall 2020 semester. Please start your application at www.regis.edu/apply.
