Faculty, staff set to return to campus
As preparations are well underway to welcome our students back next month, the following is an update regarding expectations for working on campus.
The removal of all state and city pandemic-related restrictions allows us to have our students return with no restrictions to campus and offer in-person classes. We are equally excited to welcome our Regis University community (faculty, staff and students) fully back to campus. To provide a welcoming, supportive and thriving campus experience for our community, we request those employees who may still be working remotely to please return and resume their pre-pandemic campus work schedule starting Monday, Aug. 2. Please consult immediately with your supervisor and/or manager if you foresee any issues that may prevent you from meeting this timeline. Time extensions past Monday, Aug. 2, and up to Monday, Aug. 23, will need to be reviewed by the Office of Human Resources and will require Cabinet-level approval.
Please keep in mind that all accommodations approved through the end of the Spring 2021 term, will end as of Aug. 1, 2021. If you would like to request a new health risk accommodation, please contact the Office of Human Resources, at HRInfo@regis.edu. Consistent with the prior process, new requests will require medical certification and will be reviewed by the Office of Human Resources and your department leadership before approval.
Safety continues to be of the utmost importance. We will continue safety and cleaning protocols. Specifically, common areas and frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned twice daily. We will also provide sanitizer dispensers in entry areas and wipes as needed in common areas. We have special protocols to high clean any contaminated area.
Please keep in mind that all University community members are required to provide verification of a completed vaccination by Aug. 1. This includes those who received their vaccination through one of our on-campus clinics. The link to submit this information is: COVID-19 Vaccine Verification form. Additional information can also be found here. Any employee who would like to request a medical or religious exemption is asked to please contact Associate Vice President of Human Resources Liz Whitmore at ewhitmore@regis.edu.
