Nightingale Luminary Awards
Regis is well represented in this year's Nightingale Regional Luminary Awards through the Colorado Nurses Foundation. Emily Wang was nominated for her work with the National Taiwan University, and Sherry Fuller for her work on the Regis nursing skills lab. They will both move on to the Colorado State Nightingale competition, and the winners will be announced in October. Regis Neonatal Nurse Practitioner student Catherine Baessler was also named as a Luminary for her work with Dr. Carol Wallman on the National Association of Neonatal Nurses Position statement on Marijuana, Breastfeeding and the Use of Human Milk. Congratulations all around!
