Meet the Academic Records Team
Academic Records is located on the 4th floor of Main Hall. We have the honor of working with prospective and current students from the point of admissions up to and including graduation and degree posting. We also work closely with staff in each college to ensure that students are on the right track to graduate whether it is reviewing additional transfer credit, creating degree audits/catalogs, or assisting with any hiccups along the way.
Director of Academic Records
Terry Gaurmer started working for Regis on July 5, 1989, as a transfer Credit Evaluator in the Office of the Registrar. During her 32 years at Regis, she has been an assistant registrar, associate registrar, and the Director of Academic Records for the past 15 years.
As Director of Academic Records, she manages the transition of admissions data and files into the student's academic records, the evaluation of transfer credit, the creation and maintenance of academic programs and courses, programming of degree audit, the production of the Regis University Catalog, scanning and indexing of external transcripts, processing of transcript requests, Dean's List, the evaluation of degree plans, graduation postings, and diploma creation. Additionally, she provides probation and suspension reports and academic policy and procedure expertise for the university as needed.
Outside of work, Terry enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time on Colorado lakes canoeing or kayaking with her husband of 47 years. She also likes spending time with her four children, their spouses, and her eight grandchildren.
Assistant Director of Academic Records
Katie Nallen has been working at Regis for just under ten years. She graduated from Regis College with a bachelor's in 2010. She was committed and determined to continue her education and thus completed an MA in Higher Education Leadership last fall. With experience in registration, commencement, veteran affairs benefits, transfer credit evaluations and degree audits, she utilizes that critical knowledge in her current position as the Assistant Director of Academic Records.
An essential and fulfilling piece of her role includes completing a comprehensive audit of degree/certificate requirements for graduates each term and finalizing graduation processing. In addition, Katie is responsible for sustaining and developing standing systems and processes and implementing new student structures like the Ranger Portal. As an Informer administrator, she assists in data reporting and generates wide-ranging reports to capture an array of student data for the department of Academic Records. She is a member of the University Data Custodian Committee and a member of the Modular Administrator Committee. In 2019 Katie completed the Academic Management Institute – Leadership for Colorado and Wyoming Women in Higher Education.
Katie and her husband enjoy traveling to Ireland to visit family and friends. An avid dog lover, she has two dogs; a chocolate lab named Millie and a puggle named Lyla. You can often find Katie downtown helping out at her parent's Irish Pub.
Academic Records Coordinator
Teresa Mayo has been with Regis since 2008, having served as transfer credit evaluator prior to becoming the academic records coordinator. She holds a BS in Finance from Colorado State.
Teresa is an integral part of the university catalog publishing process. She works with academic leadership to correctly reflect the requirements for every degree at Regis. She maintains Colleague's course database and adjusts the information requested by each department to the course offerings. She evaluates the incoming transfer credit for Regis College students and helps resolves transfer credit questions. She manages several workflows in ImageNow and ensures that submitted forms are reviewed and forwarded to the correct department. Her favorite task is programming and operating the Colleague degree audit system used by students and faculty.
Teresa has been married to her high school sweetheart for 36 years. Both of her sons graduated from Regis University and have been blessed to have wonderful careers in their fields of study. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, playing pickleball or spending time at the community pool.
Academic Evaluators for Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions (RHCHP)
Lisa Lynch (left) has worked for Regis University since 2011; seven years in Advancement, and three in academic records. She has a BS in Accounting from the University of Colorado. Andrea Martinez (right) began working at Regis in 2005 and has been a part of the Academic Records and Registration team since 2013. She earned her BS in Applied Psychology from Regis in 2012 while working and raising her family.
Lisa and Andrea assist Admissions by completing unofficial evaluations of approved transfer credit for prospective students applying to Rueckert-Hartman. Once students are accepted, an official evaluation of credit is completed, and credits are entered into Colleague. They assist Success Coaches by completing waiver/substitution forms, concurrent enrollment requests, re-entries and changes of academic intent. They are responsible for evaluating all incoming exam credits for their student populations. Equally important, they support Admissions and Success Coaches by vetting acceptable transfer courses to recommend to students. They review and update transfer guides and other transfer web pages, such as the testing page for the current DSST and CLEP exams available for students.
Lisa's children are proud Regis graduates; her daughter is an M.D. doing a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Maryland. Her son is in his second year of medical school at Wake Forest School of Medicine in NC. While she misses her children greatly, she keeps busy enjoying all things outdoors. She and her husband run, hike, snowshoe, ski and paddleboard, accompanied by their lovable black lab!
Andrea's oldest daughter followed in her footsteps and recently graduated from Regis. Away from work, Andrea loves spending time with her husband and three children. When time allows, you will find Andrea baking cakes for friends and family, often accompanied by her youngest daughter. She loves to work in her garden too, alongside her giant Mastiff, Simon, who supervises over her shoulder. The latest addition to the family, a bearded dragon named Tommy, provides the family with a great deal of entertainment!
Academic Evaluators for Anderson College of Business and Computing and School for Professional Advancement (SPA)
Juliette Ainsworth (right) graduated from Regis in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She began working at Regis in 2011 and started working in Academic Records as an Academic Evaluator in 2015. Juliette currently has two children attending Regis University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities.
Dina Morris (left) has worked at Regis University since 2008, with the last eight years in Academic Records. She is inspired by her mom, who retired from Regis after more than 30 years. At one point, three generations worked here simultaneously! Her daughter will be a proud Regis graduate in May with her Master's in counseling. Dina is equally proud of her husband, who has nearly completed his MBA at Regis. Dina is happily married to her high school sweetheart, and they just celebrated 32 years together.
She is blessed with an amazing family; four grown children and six grandchildren. Dina is an authentic Italian matriarch, as her home is a place for all to gather several times a week. She adores her family and cooks for them continuously, sharing all her amazing recipes. Dina and her husband are happiest when all are gathered in their home, no matter how loud and crazy it gets at times!
Once students are accepted to Regis, Juliette and Dina evaluate official academic transcripts for undergraduate students in Anderson and the School for Professional Advancement. As students' progress through their program toward graduation, recent transfer credits, and test scores are evaluated and added to the student's degree plan. As part of maintaining the student's record, they process academic intents/major declaration, combined bachelor's to masters, concurrent enrollment, and waiver/substitution forms. They also work with the student's success coach to process reentry forms for students who have left the University but now want to return by reactivating academic programs, updating catalog, and reviewing transfer credit and Regis credit. They annually review and update Anderson and SPA Transfer Guides for Colorado Community Colleges so prospective students can view them on the Regis website. Additionally, they process Official Name Change forms and Data Update forms for previous and current students.
Transfer Credit Evaluator
Filomena 'Melania' Yarosz graduated from Saint Leo University in 2011 with an MBA degree. She has three grandchildren. She has worked for Regis University for over 2 ½ years and has held two positions here. For the first ten months, she was an Administrative Assistant II for AR, and then she was promoted to Transfer Credit Evaluator.

Academic Records Assistant
Dustin Reda has worked in Academic Records since December 2017. He recently graduated from Regis University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He loves seeing and doing new things in Colorado and always has a great adventure to share with his fellow workers.
As the Academic Records Assistant, he helps students and alumni with the transcript ordering process. This takes a bit of sleuthing if the student has not attended in a while or is not entirely sure what they need. He also processes incoming external transcripts for current and prospective students by indexing these transcripts into ImageNow. As the Academic Records front line person on the fourth floor of Main Hall, he greets and helps students with all manner of questions. He is currently overseeing the Academic Records Legacy Transcript project, which includes scanning pre-1982 hard copy transcripts into the system.
