Update on Carroll Hall Roof Replacement Project
After a delay in securing City and County permits, the Carroll Hall roof replacement project will begin with preliminary work on Thursday, June 17. Roof tear-off is expected on Monday, June 21. It is now estimated to finish on or before September 24, 2021 (weather dependent).
From time to time, for several hours at a time, the fire lanes on the west and north sides of the building will be temporarily closed to pedestrian traffic in order to allow for the roof loading of needed materials.
Building entrances will also be temporarily closed throughout the construction process especially when roof work is being performed near and/or directly above those entrances. In both instances, the installation of caution tape and signage on both the inside and outside of doors and around danger areas will indicate closures.
Please be aware of your surroundings when in or around Carrol Hall while this project continues. Noise consistent with roof replacement projects will be noticeable from both in and outside the building.
