Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Coming to Regis University
This fall, Regis will welcome the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute to the Regis campus.
The Institute (also known as OLLI) began at the University of Denver over twenty years ago. OLLI is a learning organization that provides non-credit bearing courses to individuals who are 50 years old and above. The OLLI program, headquartered at the University of Denver, is one of 125 OLLI programs throughout the United States. OLLI in Denver offers over 350 courses to 1,300 OLLI members every term (Fall, Winter and Spring).
This fall, Regis University becomes the seventh OLLI site in the Denver area. Regis will offer both online and in-person classes. Registration for classes will begin in mid-August. OLLI is a membership organization, and members pay just $140 per term and may enroll in as many courses as they wish during the term.
This summer, OLLI features a Series of Summer Short Topics in Tuesday webinars - from June 7 to Aug. 2. Each webinar is only $10. The webinar on June 21 will feature Regis Emeritus Professor, Dr. Vinnie Wincelociwz hosting a discussion on public corruption.
