How Regis is helping students thrive
Card writing event
On Wednesday, March 30, a group of Regis leaders gathered in the Student Center to write hand-written notes to our traditional undergraduate students. This effort was undertaken to thank our students for being Rangers and to encourage and support them in their studies. Things haven’t been easy, and we are grateful they have stuck with us through the pandemic. Despite the hand cramps, all who attended agreed it was an effort worth repeating! Many thanks to Marketing and Communications and Admissions, and all others who contributed to the success of this project! We hope our students will feel the love!
AJCU Student Success and Retention group
Last December, seventeen representatives from fifteen institutions from across the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) working on student success and retention gathered via Zoom for a meet and greet. One of the outcomes of that meeting was the formation of the AJCU Student Success & Retention listserv. To find out more about upcoming meetings and activities as well as connect with AJCU colleagues working on student success and retention, subscribe to the listserv by sending your name, email and the name of this listserv (ajcussar) to: ea@ajcunet.edu. To start a conversation/pose a question to the group, email: ajcussar@georgetown.edu.
Please contribute your ideas (can be your own, or ideas from another school), success stories, or other items for this section by sending them to provost@regis.edu. We know there is good stuff happening all around Regis!
