Academic Excellence: Creating Inclusive Spaces Conference
Student retention and thriving is at the heart of our Jesuit Values and at the center of our vocation as educators—whether we are in the classroom or in various student support offices. Please join us on Monday, August 15th for our 4th Annual Academic Excellence: Creating Inclusive Spaces day-long conference. Our talented, committed faculty and staff will share their passion and best practices for creating campus spaces where all of our students can reach their God-given potential. We will begin with a light breakfast and will serve a buffet lunch. The program will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and will be followed by the Provost’s Picnic from 3:30-5 p.m. on Boettcher Commons- where ice cream and light snacks will be served. Please email diverse@regis.edu for more information about the conference. We will send an event program in late July.

Successful HLC Multi-location Visit
In late April, Regis hosted a peer reviewer from the Higher Learning Commission for a Multi-location visit, which takes place at a selection of an institution’s additional locations. This time, HLC chose to visit the Posner Center, where our Master of Development Practice Program is housed, as well as the Denver Tech Center, which hosts some of our Anderson programs. We received very positive feedback from the Peer Reviewer, who noted the many different kinds of supports in place for students learning from the locations apart from the main campus. Word came Friday that we officially “passed” the visit, so congratulations are in order to all who helped prepare for the visit and met with the Peer Reviewer.
