Chiller Outage Will Affect Cooling in Library, Carroll Hall, Field House and West Hall

Starting on Monday, March 28, 2022, the chill water plant in DeSmet will be non – operational through April 1st. This outage is planned to be performed at a time when cooling needs on campus and within buildings are typically lower than in the hotter months of the year. This outage is necessary to prepare for an upcoming chiller replacement project that will happen over this coming summer.

Likely impacts are warmer than normal interior space temperatures experienced by building users in the following buildings: Dayton Memorial Library, Carrol Hall, The Athletic Arena, DeSmet Hall, West Hall, and O’Connell Hall.
