Campus climate surveys: please help solicit feedback from students
Help Us Listen, Learn, and Grow!
“If you’re not listening, you’re not learning.” — Lyndon B. Johnson, 36th President of the United States
No university can be student-centric without listening and responding to student feedback and opinion. The HEDS Student Satisfaction Survey asks students how pleased they are with their academic experiences, course instruction, campus services and facilities, and campus life. The Diversity and Equity Campus Climate Survey asks students to share their perceptions of institutional climate, consider whether and how the institution supports DEI efforts, and reflect on their experiences with discrimination at the university.
The goal of the surveys is to learn more about how students with different identities and backgrounds experience the institution and to identify strengths and areas of improvement. Survey results will be shared in fall term 2023, and recommendations for enhancing the student experiences will be made to the Cura governance group and appropriate stakeholders for decisions, prioritization, and implementation.
The student satisfaction survey will be open March 19 through April 9, and the diversity and equity climate survey will be open April 9 through April 30. Each survey takes less than 15 minutes to complete, and participants’ responses are anonymous. A QR code to access the survey will be provided to students in emails, on flyers, and through social media.
Students who complete both surveys will be entered into a drawing for a Regis Swag Bag filled with gear and gifts. Three winners will be selected after the surveys close.
Please help us encourage students to complete these important surveys!
