Capstone project created to support first-generation students
Regis College senior Alma Borunda-Granillo, a double major in Communications and Peace and Justice, has created a website for first-generation students to help them navigate through college. Alma consulted with peers and others to learn what information would be most helpful. The project has been very well received. You can explore the website here.
Regis College Faculty Lecturer of the Year - Dr. Amy Schrier
Dr. Amy Schrier of the Biology Department has been elected the 2023 Faculty Lecturer of the Year for her outstanding achievement in publishing. Her scholarship revolves around the environmental impact on the behavior and habitat of various species and since the beginning of 2020, Dr. Schreier has co-authored 18 journal articles and book chapters.
Regis jumps four spots in ranking for Best Online bachelor's degree in computer science
Congratulations to the online Computer Science program in Anderson College of Business and Computing! From 2022 to 2023, the program moved up four spots in University HQ’s rankings.

Regis University's online RN to BSN program has been recognized as the best in Colorado for 2023 by registerednursing.org, a nursing advocacy organization.

Learning Commons recruiting student tutors, writing coaches
The Learning Commons is currently recruiting students from across the curriculum to serve as tutors and writing coaches for the 2023/24 academic year. We look for students who excel in their coursework, can explain complex material and concepts, model effective study skills, have good interpersonal skills, and can work with Regis’ diverse student body. We rely on faculty and staff recommendations to build the best support for each department, so we appreciate your assistance and insights.
Please email us the names of students you know who fit these criteria and indicate if they would be eligible to be a subject tutor, a writing coach, or both, and we will contact the students to gauge interest and set up interviews.
