Bryan Hall to become Vice Provost for Strategic Programs
President Salvador Aceves has announced that School for Professional Advancement Dean, Bryan Hall, Ph.D., will become Regis’ new Vice Provost for Strategic Programs effective June 1, 2023. He will join incoming Provost Jake Bucher’s team.
As vice provost, Hall will work to create and deliver university-wide programs that further our strategic priorities, deliver on our mission, and diversify our revenue streams. In this role, Hall will oversee several university programs that serve as a social projection, into our community, of Regis’ mission. These currently include the GLOBAL Inclusive Education Program that serves students with intellectual and developmental disabilities; the Virtual Inside/Out Prison Education Program that he initiated; and Regis’ partnership with the University of Denver’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute that offers continuing education for older adults.
Hall also will be working to generate new sources of revenue for the University, including continuing education/professional development for businesses in the Denver metro area. This fall, Hall will be working on no-credit-to-credit pathways for these businesses’ employees as well as a form of undergraduate degree completion that can nimbly respond to market demand. He will also be convening a faculty working group, from across the University, to develop a curriculum and program-governance structure.
A two-time Fulbright Scholar, Hall joined Regis in 2019 as academic dean of the College of Contemporary Liberal Studies, and has been SPA dean since 2020. He earned his doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Colorado-Boulder and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver.
