Steam Leak Caused Buckling on the First Floor of Main Hall

A steam leak caused the floor to buckle on the first floor of Main Hall, west end. Please know that work began to resolve the issue on Thursday, Sept. 28, and will likely not conclude until early this week.

For the pipe to be repaired, it may require that the boiler be shut down for up to three days. If the boiler needs to be shut down, there would be no heat or hot water in the Main Hall. We hope shutting down the boiler won’t be needed, but because it could happen, we wanted to forewarn you.
