Planned power outage set for Dec. 21

There will be a campus wide, planned power outage, from 7 to 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023. The reason for this power outage is for Xcel Energy to transfer power to a new electrical line that was recently installed near the Chapel. 

If you plan to leave campus prior to Dec. 21 and do not plan to return until after the New Year, please power down your computer and unplug other electronics prior to your departure. View a full list of instructions.

The Physical Plant will ensure that all systems are functioning properly once power is restored on Dec. 21 and it is likely that you may not notice a difference when you arrive to work on that day.
