Join Us For the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) Network on Diversity and Equity Conference

We are excited to extend an invitation to you for the upcoming Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) Network on Diversity and Equity Conference, hosted by Regis from June 9-12, 2024. Our conference theme is “Transforming Our Institutions for Love and Justice.” We consider it a great honor to be the chosen venue for this conference and are eager to welcome participants to our beautiful city of Denver, Colorado. 

This conference marks a significant moment for the AJCU Network as it will be the first in-person gathering since 2019. We are enthusiastic about the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and strengthen the bonds within our community.  

We recognize the commitment and dedication of our Faculty and Staff, and we understand that the summer timing might pose challenges for those who are not under contract during that period.  Despite the timing, we want to stress the invaluable experience this conference promises. By participating, you will not only contribute to the vibrant discussions on diversity and equity but also gain insights that will undoubtedly enhance your professional journey. 

Please note that given this wonderful opportunity, we will be expanding on/shifting this conversation for our August workshop. We believe this event shift will provide an exciting platform for exchanging ideas, fostering collaboration, and contributing to the broader mission of our institution. 

To further facilitate your involvement, we invite you to submit papers for consideration. The call for papers submission link can be found here, and we encourage you to contribute your valuable insights to the conference agenda.

  • Sessions and Keynote address: Gina Ann Garcia, Ph.D., Monday, June 10 
  • Sessions and closing banquet: Tuesday, June 11 
  • Breakfast, final reflection, and departure: Wednesday, June 12 
  • Call for Papers: Transforming our Institutions for Love and Justice
