  • Congratulations to Wladimir Marquez (Regis College) on his recent chapter “A Global Narco Culture: Streaming Scenes of Respect and the Illusion of Justice” in the book Netflix’ Spain (2023, Routledge).

  • I want to publicly welcome Dr. Madhu Rao to Regis as the Dean of Anderson College of Business and Computing, and recognize Dr. Erin Winterrowd as she begins service as Dean of Regis College. I’m incredibly excited for these new leaders and the impact they’ll have for all of our work and our community.

  • A reminder as you start the new term, it is expected that faculty maintain at least a gradebook and accessible materials (notably a syllabus) on WorldClass.

  • Ranger Co-Op Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Jan. 23
    The Ranger Co-Op is taking over as the one-stop-shop for Regis students to pick up food and professional clothing. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 1 p.m. at the Coors Direction Center in room 122. A reception will immediately follow. Learn more at regis.edu/coop.

  • The Department of Fine & Performing Arts Music Program is delighted to present its first concert, and only Guest Artist performance, of the Spring 2024 Concert and Event Series featuring Colorado's first all-female mariachi group, Mariachi Femenil Alma del Folklore. Under the direction of founder Pam Liñan, the ensemble will perform a program titled “A Celebration of Women and Mariachi Music” on Monday, January 29, at 7:30 p.m. in Claver Recital Hall. There will be a pre-concert talk with the performers at 6:35 p.m.

  • Join our ongoing and expanding conversation on the Israel-Hamas war, delving into the history, politics and social dynamics between Jews and Palestinians. Explore US policy, perspectives and the role of universities in addressing rising anti-Jewish and anti-Muslim sentiments. Share your experiences and insights in a safe environment.

    Meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays (Jan. 30, Feb. 6, 20, March 19, April 2, 16) from 12:30 to 1:45, with more information available through Russ Arnold at rarnold@regis.edu.

  • The Provost will have slightly different Office Hours this Spring. We will keep the Monday 9-10 a.m. and Thursday 2-3 p.m. hours, and will be shifting the Friday hours to Wednesday from 4:30-6 p.m. Please note the Wednesday hours will be at the Thornton Campus, and there will be a Zoom option for all office hours via https://regis.zoom.us/j/6248565504.
