Cybersecurity Awareness Month: Salt Typhoon Cyber Attack
On Sept. 30th, you most likely experienced an internet service outage where you could not receive or make phone calls or access the internet with your smart phones. The reason was because of a state-sponsored hack from China, dubbed “Salt Typhoon.” With each passing day, bad actors continue to find more ways to infiltrate our systems, networks and access our personal data. This is why we must remain diligent in all our communications, daily business transactions and social media interactions. As part of October’s Cybersecurity Awareness, Month Anderson College of Business and Computing has arranged three articles for your edification and situational awareness.
