  • There is a new Carnegie Classification called “Opportunity Colleges and Universities”, and in that Regis is classified as “Higher Access, Higher Earnings” for 2025. This classification reflects the number of students enrolled from underrepresented racial and ethnic minorities & Pell-eligible students and whether those students who attend make more money than their peers regardless of if they graduate.

  • Please check out the archival recording of the Climate Mass performance at Carnegie Hall in April. Music is by Loretta Notareschi (RC) Lyrics from the Latin Mass and Alyse Knorr (RC), New England Symphonic Ensemble with Raul Dominguez conducting, singers from around the country including Regis University, First Universalist Church of Denver, Stargate High School, and others.

  • Thanks to all who played in the Faculty/Staff vs. Students Soccer Friendly, thanks for all of those who came out that chilly day for community, and thanks to the Staff Council for organizing it. We played the students a lot closer this year, and Chris Malarkey (RHCHP) and I literally bled for the team.

  • Related to April’s newsletter, two items related to my 360 evaluation that I wanted to share include this
Discernment Tool that frames institutional history and mission in decision-making. The Academic and Student Affairs Leadership Team will use it in our conversations, I am encouraging Deans to utilize it in their areas, and hope you might find some use of it too. Additionally, I wanted to share the Provost April Report. I will include these in future newsletters, pulling a summary from what I send to the President each month, and is shared in response to encouragement for increased communication and awareness of what I am doing.
