Employee Service Awards Nominations
Dear Regis University Colleagues,
We’re happy to announce the return of a cherished Regis tradition, the Employee Service Awards Ceremony on April 22 from 3-5 p.m.! This joyful celebration honors the dedication, passion and lasting impact of our colleagues. During the ceremony, employees celebrating 5-year milestones in their length of service will be recognized and presented with their service milestone pins, a meaningful symbol of their dedication to Regis.
We will also proudly present four special awards that reflect our Jesuit values and the spirit of our community:
Finding God in All Things Award for Wonder and Discovery
Description:
This award honors someone who models the Ignatian practice of finding God — or the good, the true and the beautiful — in all things. Through their curiosity, scholarship, creativity or service, they reveal the sacred in everyday work and inspire others to approach learning and life with gratitude and wonder.
Nomination Criteria:
- Demonstrates a spirit of wonder, curiosity and appreciation for creation
- Connects academic or professional work with meaning and purpose
- Encourages others to see the divine or the good in all people and situations
Magis Award for the Greater Good
Description:
The Magis Award honors an individual whose pursuit of excellence and innovation embodies the Jesuit spirit of “the more.” This person continually seeks the greater good — discerning how best to serve, lead and improve their sphere of influence while respecting balance and limits.
Nomination Criteria:
- Demonstrates exceptional initiative, creativity or leadership in advancing institutional goals
- Seeks continual growth and encourages it in others
- Balances ambition with humility and discernment
St. John Francis Regis Service Award
Description:
The St. John Francis Regis Service Award recognizes an employee who has contributed substantial service and effort to promote the mission of Regis University.
Nomination Criteria:

- Has maintained an abiding interest in the Jesuit vision
- Exhibits a value-centered commitment to students and coworkers
Unity of Minds and Hearts Award for Community and Collaboration
Description:
This award recognizes a faculty or staff member who fosters authentic community, dialogue, and shared purpose across differences. The honoree strengthens the fabric of the university through transparent communication, trust-building, and inclusive collaboration.
Nomination Criteria:

- Demonstrates exceptional teamwork and bridge-building across departments or disciplines
- Promotes open, respectful dialogue and shared problem solving
- Embodies the Jesuit value of unity without uniformity
