Academic Internships

Many of the programs in Regis College include an academic internship as a required component of a degree. In addition to the internship, students will register for the Academic Internship course for the semester that the internship is being completed. This course will engage students through academic assignments and reflection exercises designed by the internship professor.

How do I find an academic internship?

The process of finding an academic internship is facilitated by the Office of Academic Internships, located in Loyola Hall. Students should express interest in finding an internship by contacting the Office of Academic Internships. Once interest has been expressed, students should expect to meet with the Office of Academic Internships to learn about the process. After learning about the process and determining the field in which internships will be applied for, students will be guided by the Office of Academic Internships through the application process.

Declaring a Major/Minor

In some majors, earlier decisions are required to complete designated prerequisites. Programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Education and the natural sciences require careful planning in order to fulfill all requirements in four years. Students who have completed 45 or more semester hours at the time of registration must complete an online Major Declaration form.
