In an effort to spread awareness of and increase familiarity with Regis’s recently launched “Naloxone Accessibility Program,” several open information sessions will be offered every year. These sessions are completely voluntary and meant to provide participants with basic knowledge about opioid use and crisis mitigation. There will also be an overview of how Naloxone is used to treat opioid overdoses and the locations of Naloxone stations throughout our campus.
The Aug. 3 session will be aimed at providing faculty and staff with specialized insight before students rejoin us for the fall semester. Future sessions (during the academic year) will likely be open to a mixture of students, faculty and staff.
Trainings will be relaxed but begin and end punctually out of respect for your time. There will be extra time allotted for anyone who would like to ask additional questions, etc., but the core information will be delivered within the hour.
Space is limited so please RSVP by July 28 if you would like to attend.
