Human Resources provides work-from-home update; face masks required

Liz Whitmore, associate vice president of Human Resources, recently provided a work-from-home update in an email to staff and faculty on Tuesday, April 28. It read, in part, that the University would comply with the city and county of Denver’s May 8 stay-at-home extension at all four campuses.

Only those people currently identified as essential staff are allowed to work on campus during this time.

Additionally, as of April 22, all staff on campus are now required to wear face masks.

The HR department will continue to monitor directions in regard to the state’s “safer-at-home” order, which became effective April 27, and the city’s extended stay-at-home order, and provide additional information and guidance.

Staff and faculty are advised to communicate with their immediate supervisors about returning to work and/or the ability to continue to work remotely. This will assist the University’s return-to-work preparations.
