Update from the President: September 14, 2020

September 14, 2020

Dear Regis University Community,

I hope this finds you and those you love in good health and cheer.

This morning I recorded a video message to thank our community for adhering to social distance guidelines and mask requirements.  Doing so demonstrates respect for self and respect for others.

That said, COVID-19 is insidious.  Our positive case rate in Colorado as well as Regis University remains comparatively low.  We need to remain vigilant as well as flexible.

For the health and well-being of our campus community, this week our in-person classes will be taught either in the gorgeous September sunshine or virtually.  This kind of nimble response allows us to have the fall and semester we all seek – full of health, hope and minimal disruption.

I encourage you to reference our website for daily updates.

In the meantime, be assured of my continued prayers and support as we gracefully navigate the rest of September and embrace October.

Gratefully,

Rev. John P. Fitzgibbons, S.J.
President
