Required and optional apps for COVID monitoring

A reminder to faculty, staff and students that while we continue to practice physical distancing, face masking and hand washing, everyone on campus is also required to continue to use the #CampusClear app daily to record COVID-19 test results, symptoms or the lack thereof.

In addition, another tool is now available from the state of Colorado that is voluntary.

The state Department of Public Health and Environment has launched a COVID-19 Exposure Notification System, a smartphone app that is designed to notify anyone of possible exposure to the virus. Using this service, crafted especially for Coloradans, could result in receiving notifications days earlier than you would typically by a contact tracer. This is especially true if cases rise dramatically. The app also allows you, if you test positive, to easily and swiftly notify people you were on contact with anonymously. The app does not share your name, location, IP address, phone number or any other identifying information.
