Meet the Administrative Services Team

Administrative Services prides itself on creating processes that are user-friendly and efficient. We provide faculty services that include the establishment of official faculty files, faculty overload tracking and related reports. We manage and pay course contracts and overload as well as all additional duties and stipend payments. We also train on all things related to faculty on Colleague and Web Advisor.

Jim Compton

jim-compton.jpgJim began working at Regis in 1998 and completed his BA here in 2002. He is a regular Bingo volunteer for Almost Home Cat Rescue, a nonprofit benefiting cat rescue and adoptions. You can catch his work when the Bingo halls fully reopen.

Jim tracks new faculty hires and builds an official faculty file prior to granting faculty status in Colleague. Using guidelines from The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and Regis, Jim requests, authenticates and records data in Colleague for all degree-bearing transcripts for every person teaching at Regis- as Instructor, full-time, or affiliate faculty. Jim maintains these files and handles activation and terminations for faculty in Colleague. He also ensures all faculty files get scanned into ImageNow for electronic access. Jim works closely with all of the colleges to be sure faculty are activated quickly and professionally while adhering to our guidelines.

Sue Kerr

Sue Kerr (it's pronounced like 'care') began working for Regis at the Denver Tech Center campus in 1998 and moved to the Northwest campus in 2000. She attended the University of Northern Colorado pursuing a degree in Education. Sue is a member at Saint Mary Catholic Parish in Littleton and is an early morning volunteer each week at their Adoration Chapel. She has a large extended family and she manages communications and gatherings for the entire large group.

Sue is the guru of getting all our faculty paid. She prepares course pay and overload payments, working closely with Academic Records and Registration and Payroll to be sure everyone is paid at the appropriate time each (of nine!) semesters and terms each year. Sue also manages pay tables and tracks faculty overload for most academic departments. She also runs various reports detailing faculty numbers, contract pay, how many ranked versus affiliate are teaching, and numerous other requests concerning faculty. Sue is a Module Administrator for Colleague, and she lives by the mantra "Don't mess with people's pay!"

He is an avid reader and has an extensive book collection. Dave has his pulse on appraising numerous genres of book titles and is on a constant quest for treasured manuscripts. Just check with him for his Pun of the Day!

Dave’s responsibilities include handling Additional Duties/Stipend requests for faculty. These requests are sent to us by all schools and colleges, the Dayton Memorial Library, Athletics, The Learning Commons, Mission, the offices of the President and Provost, and any other group that needs to pay faculty outside of course pay.
