Celebrating Hispanic and Latino heritage

Join the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence as it kicks off a new semester of Good Trouble Conversations with a discussion featuring Professor Tony Ortega, History Colorado’s Lucha Martinez, and renowned muralist/artist Emanuel Martinez at noon on Friday. Please join us for a conversation about the power and preservation of Colorado’s murals and mural tradition. For the Chicano/Mexican American/Latinx community in Colorado, murals have served to educate communities, especially the youth, about their history and culture. Register for the conversation.

Keep the conversation going this month and beyond. Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15-Oct. 15, celebrates the achievements and contributions of Hispanic Americans. Join us as we promote our Hispanic/Latino Serving Initiatives all year long.
