Dr. Nicki Gonzales will deliver State Historian's Address

Our own Dr. Nicki Gonzales, Colorado’s first Latina State Historian and Vice Provost for Diversity and Inclusion, will give her State Historian’s Address (in English) on Wednesday, June 8: "Una carta de amor para mi comunidad: A love letter to my community."

Gonzales will describe her journey across the state this past year while celebrating, honoring, and listening to stories that “for too long have been pushed to the margins."

Bold Women. Change History. is a speaker series about what happens when women have a seat at the table—and when they lead. It is inspired by the ambitious, innovative spirit of Colorado, where voters were America’s first to eliminate gender discrimination at the ballot box, more than 25 years before the rest of the nation.

Bold Women. Change History. features the resonant personal histories of women who take risks, innovate in ways worth replicating, and demonstrate a powerful spectrum of leadership.

Please consider supporting, celebrating and congratulating Dr. Gonzales by attending the event on Wednesday, June 8. Event details and tickets can be found here.
