Be Prepared: Spring 8Week1 Courses Section on Dec. 12  

Please plan on reviewing your courses in WorldClass starting on Dec. 14. Here is a list of items to check in online courses.  If you are teaching on campus remember to have your syllabus in the WorldClass course shell. Also make sure all assignments have due dates and that your gradebooks are set up as you would like them to be. If you need assistance, please email idt@regis.edu or attend on of ID&T's Drop-In Virtual Office Hours - Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. 

Say Yes to Yellowdig in the Spring! 

You have heard about this paradigm shifting platform. Now is the time to move from traditional online discussions to contemporary online conversations. We invite you to attend one of the three information sessions and join us for lunch (sponsored by Yellowdig). ID&T is available to assist you in implementing this spring! This platform can be used for online courses, on campus courses, program groups, and extracurricular communities. 

You can come to any session; however, we may focus our examples on courses with the college named.

Overnight parking reminder 

A seasonal reminder to those who park on campus that lots 5 and 7 are the designated lots for overnight parking. Cars left overnight in other lots will be ticketed as they hinder snow removal. Lot 5 is located north of the Residence Village and reserved for students who live on campus. Lot 7, located north of the baseball field and accessible via Regis Square, is open to students and staff. 

Regis instructional designer to particiapte in Leadership U

Jonnia Torres Carolan, Instructional Designer-Inclusive Pedagogy, has been selected to participate in the Leadership U for Humanity, a career and leadership development program offered by the Korn Ferry Charitable Foundation. This program was developed to strengthen the potential of participants through live virtual classes, self-guided learning, and monthly career coaching sessions.  

RUAC (Regis University Academic Council) Decisions 

The proposal to create an MBA in Project Leadership and Management in the Anderson College of Business and Computing was approved on November 2, 2022. 

The Proposal for revision to the music major(s) and minor in the Regis College Fine and Performing Arts Music Program was approved on November 2, 2022.  

The Regis College Concept Proposal for the GLOBAL Inclusive Program Academic Certificate was approved to move forward as a full proposal on November 16, 2022. 

The Regis College Proposal for a Biomedical Sciences Graduate Certificate was approved on November 16, 2022. 

The Regis College Concept Proposal for an Alternative Licensure program was approved to move forward as a full proposal on November 16, 2022. 

The Regis College Concept Proposal for Streamlining of Online Initial Licensure programs was approved to move forward as a full proposal on November 16, 2022.

Join Lessons and Carols and President’s Christmas Party 

The Advent ceremony of Lessons and Carols has been a vibrant tradition at Regis University for well over 30 years. Once again it promises to be a joyful and prayerful event. Join us Friday, Dec. 2 at 4 p.m. in the St. John Francis Regis Chapel. This celebration is open to all the Regis community and friends. 

Following Lessons and Carols, plan to join Interim President Cody Teets for the President’s Casino Christmas Party from 5-7 p.m. in the Mountain View Room.  

Donate items for Toys for Tots, coat drive 

Help the Office of Military and Veteran Services collect toys and coats this holiday season. In partnership with Toys for Tots, the office will collect new, unwrapped toys in the Provost's Office (Main Hall, suite 217), Life Direction Center 124, the Student Center and in the Department of Human Resources now through Dec. 16. Learn more. 

Additionally, the office is collecting new and gently used coats for farm workers. Drop off your donation in Life Direction Center 124, the St. John Francis Regis Chapel and in the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence now through Dec. 19. Learn more.
