How to help St. John's College - Belize

On the evening of Nov. 2, Belize was struck by Hurricane Lisa. The hurricane caused considerable damage to the country and St. John’s College, which serves 2,000 students and has 144 faculty and staff, along with students at their high school and junior college.

Four of their buildings sustained damage to their roofs, leading to damage to their interior, including computer equipment and furniture. The campus lighting infrastructure and security hut were destroyed. Major flooding and electrical damage were experienced across the campus.

If you would like to help in any way, please contact the president, Mirtha Alicia Peralta at president@sjc.edu.bz. If you would like to donate to help restore the Jesuit School in Belize, please send monetary donations to the United States Central and Southern Province office in St. Louis who will forward on to St. John’s College. Please mark any donations to St. John’s College Belize for easier processing. The faculty and staff of St. John’s College thank you for your prayers and support.
