Interim CIO named

Jim Gaulke, vice president for information technology at PDC Energy in Denver for the last 10 years, has been named Regis’ Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO), Salvador D. Aceves, senior vice president and chief financial officer, announced today.

Gaulke also was vice president of systems and chief informational officer for Nordstrom Bank in Englewood, a position he also held for ten years. He holds a master of business administration in finance from Kennesaw State University and a bachelor of science in mathematics from Iona College. He will start at Regis on January 13.

Gaulke was selected from a strong pool of interim candidates. As the CIO, he will benefit from the ITS Assessment and Recommended Actions Report that Innovative Insights, a technology consulting firm, completed recently Aceves said. Later this month, Aceves said he will announce the search committee that, with the participation of faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders, will help Regis identify our next CIO.
