Learning Commons recruiting student tutors, writing coaches
Hello, dear faculty and staff,
The Learning Commons is currently recruiting students from across the curriculum to serve as tutors and writing coaches for the 2023/24 academic year. We look for students who excel in their coursework, can explain complex material and concepts, model effective study skills, have good interpersonal skills, and can work with Regis’ diverse student body. We rely on faculty and staff recommendations to build the best support for each department, so we appreciate your assistance and insights.
Please email us the names of students you know who fit these criteria and indicate if they would be eligible to be a subject tutor, a writing coach, or both, and we will contact the students to gauge interest and set up interviews.
Please feel free to forward this request to anyone in your department who would be willing to recommend students or let us know whom we should reach out to. Let us know if you have any questions or if you’d like to meet to chat about recommendations.
