  • Thank you for all the engagement and feedback regarding the drafted Academic Plan. I will incorporate revisions, and when we return in January I will share out both a summary of the feedback as well as the updated Plan.
 
  • Congratulations to Heider Tun Tun (Regis College) on his book CO-MADRES, Testimony of the Human Rights Struggle in El Salvador 1975-1994.

  • Congratulations to Jenna Martin (Regis College) for two recent presentations: Multilingual Learning Lab Model: An Intentional Approach to Building Educator Capacity and Self-Reflection on Bilingualism for Critically Teaching Identity and Culture, both at the La Cosecha Dual Language Conference in Albuquerque, NM.

  • I want to publicly thank Matt Daly and Doug Hart (Anderson College) for their work as Interim Deans this Fall. Their full and steady expertise have helped counsel me, and helped guide Anderson these months to provide incoming Dean Madhu Rao a great situation to join in January.

  • In the interest of safety and sustainable conservation practices, Regis University Physical Plant is asking that all members of the Regis community play their part in turning off any:
    • Electronic devices – Lamps, speakers etc.
    • Equipment – Computers and other machinery
    • Decorations – Lights, motion sensor toys, etc.

    within their general and office spaces when leaving campus for the holiday break later this month (between Christmas and New Year’s). During the break, offices will be set back to energy efficient temperatures. All buildings, with the exception of some residence halls for students, will be closed.

  • The Regis University Center for Counseling and Family Therapy provides free in-person and virtual counseling services for Regis faculty and staff. Appointments are also available to students in addition to services offered by OCPD. Request an appointment.

  • The Colorado Department of Higher Education recently released its annual Return on Investment Report, which found that "earning a postsecondary credential of value reamins a critical investment for Coloradans and for meeting workforce demands." Read more.


  • Do you have news to share with faculty and staff in the Regist? Make sure to submit your events and news to Marcom at marcom@regis.edu by Dec. 15. The last Regist of 2023 will be published on Dec. 19. Publication will resume Jan. 9, 2024. Additionally, if you have a Spring 2024 event you'd like to promote, please fill out the Marcom calendar request form.
