Regis successfully hosts 365 Health Fair

Congratulations to the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions on the huge success of the 365 Health Fair, held on the Northwest Denver campus on March 11. Nearly 200 community members participated, and hundreds of important health screenings were performed. Great job! Read about the event in Regis Life.

Marcha & Celebration: Reclaiming Male Responsibility through Nonviolence 

Join the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence and the César E. Chávez Peace and Justice Committee of Denver for the 22nd Annual Marcha & Celebration: Reclaiming Male Responsibility through Nonviolence on Saturday, April 1, 2023. We’ll begin with Father Fernando, S.J. presiding at Mass in our Saint John Francis Regis Chapel at 8:30 a.m. After Mass, we’ll gather outside the chapel and march together from Regis to César E. Chávez Park located on Tennyson Avenue.

Good Trouble Conversation: Human Trafficking 

Join the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence and the Undocumented Student Resource Alliance (USRA) from noon-1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 31, for a Good Trouble Conversation (GTC) in Peter Claver Hall, Room 306. Our guest speaker will be Jen Jahnke ‘97, a business and human rights expert who specializes in human trafficking, forced labor and child labor in supply chains. She will speak about recent media reports of widespread child labor in the United States among vulnerable unaccompanied minors who have journeyed to the United States. Discussion will follow Jen’s presentation. Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship (CURAS)  

Please save the date for the second Annual Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship on Wednesday, April 19 from 3-7 p.m. in Claver Hall. Independent student scholarship is welcome, as are class projects. There are multiple presentation formats available—poster, talk, performance, display—and we are happy to try to work with students’ time constraints. Faculty and staff — please encourage student participation, and please plan to attend to see all of our students’ great work! Updated federal definitions on substantive interaction  

Please visit here to read a short policy brief regarding the federal government’s updated definition of regular and substantive interaction and the definition of "distance education" in CFR 34, §600.2, including specifically defining the terms: instructor, regular, and substantive. This is important information, as it pertains to federal financial aid eligibility.
