Counseling Spring Programming for Students

Student Wellbeing is hard at work planning fun and informative student events throughout the Spring 2023 semester. Join them for wellness-focused events like mindfulness practice with pups, group crafting, and more!

Events include:

Crafting Conversations
Join this student-led group each Wednesday this spring and practice mindfulness by trying a new craft, talking with friends and meeting some fellow students!

Good Boy Tuesdays
Students are invited every other Tuesday to relax and recharge with Mookie or Benny and learn some coping and de-stressing skills with these fluffy boys!

Mental Health Awareness Series
Come to one of these focused topic days and learn more about mental health with some of OCPD's Staff Counselors. Topics include Self-Love, Coping within Crisis, and Self-Care and Counseling Awareness.

Mindfulness and Creativity for Stress Relief
On select Thursdays each month, use your senses as a creative outlet to practice mindfulness and manage stress.

Queer Support and Discussion Group
Student Wellbeing invites students to this drop-in group for students who identify as LGBTQIA+. Come as you are and join us in co-creating a supportive and affirming space on select Tuesdays each month.
