Volunteers and donations sought for shelter on campus

In response to a declared humanitarian crisis in Denver, Regis University sheltered on campus up to 40 asylum seekers from Venezuela, all families with children, for a week. Thanks to our many volunteers and the generous support of our community, we were able to provide a safe place for our guests to rest and rejuvenate before continuing to their destinations elsewhere in the state and the U.S.

More information about this service experience will be posted shortly. This service was Mission Leave eligible.

The Regis Welcome Center is continuing to accept monetary donations to cover remaining costs. Thanks to the amazing outpouring of support from our community, no additional supplies are needed at this time.
