Join the Regis University Mentor Program

For nearly 30 years the Regis University Mentor Program has been bringing employees together across functional areas, from diverse backgrounds and experience levels, to build bonds, share wisdom, provide support and promote professional development. The mentor program has been sponsored and organized through the office of the Provost  and has been fostered into a stable and productive program. 2023 proved to be a year for intentional change and future forward planning. As part of a new strategic approach to employee development the mentor program sponsorship shifted to the Office of Human Resources at the beginning of the 2023 academic year.

With the tremendous help and guidance from Kristi Gonsalves-McCabe, who most recently coordinated the mentor program, the program has transferred successfully and is expanding to include additional programing for the participants, both mentors and mentees. The program has traditionally brought mentors and mentees together on a regular basis for 1:1 mentoring during the academic year, September through May. For the 2023-24 program year, the program has expanded to include three tailored professional development workshops and a special mission project specifically designed for mentors and mentees to share in the experience of mission work together.

The enhancements to the program will continue in the years to come and continue to expand to boost program value and participation. It will not be long before you will begin seeing email invitations to participate in the 2024-25 mentor program. If you are new to Regis, new to your position, or just looking for support as your career progresses please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to be paired with a volunteer mentor. For those of you who thrive on supporting and guiding others on their professional journey then we need you, please sign up to become a mentor. The Mentor Program is a genuine and valuable way to live our mission and serve one another.
