Notice for Work That Starts on Monday, Aug. 12, 2024

The campus chilled water production plant will undergo a controls upgrade. Work will begin on Monday, Aug. 12 and is expected to conclude on Thursday, Aug. 15. During this time, a temporary set of controls will be utilized to maintain normal operations. The temporary control system is less robust and may cause some system deficiencies. Chilled water used to cool buildings through building HVAC systems may be impacted slightly and result in occupants experiencing warmer than normal building temperatures.

Please report warmer temperatures as you would normally, but bear with us and understand there may not be a remedy until the work for this needed upgrade is complete. Buildings impacted could be DeSmet Hall, the Student Center, Carroll Hall. O’Connell Hall, Dayton Memorial Library, Clarke Hall, the Field House, and West Hall.
