Microsoft 365 Copilot branding update

Recently, Microsoft made a minor branding change to Microsoft 365. This rebranding was communicated to the technology community, stating that the optional application Microsoft 365 would be rebranded as Microsoft 365 Copilot on Jan. 15, 2025.

While the design of Microsoft 365 Copilot includes references to Copilot (Microsoft’s AI system), there is no access to Copilot AI without having a separate license.

Most importantly to our Regis community, the name change does not affect each of the traditional Microsoft Office applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Microsoft Outlook remains unchanged.
