PRESIDENT’S SERVICE AWARD
Criteria: This faculty or staff member consistently embodies a positive attitude toward Regis University, demonstrating unyielding dedication and a commitment to excellence. They consistently deliver outstanding service to students, faculty and staff. Their exceptional contributions significantly enhance the university community.

ST. JOHN FRANCIS REGIS SERVICE AWARD
Criteria: This faculty or staff member has contributed a substantial amount of service and effort to promote the mission of Regis University.

Mission Statement: As a Jesuit Catholic university, Regis seeks to build a more just and humane world through transformative education at the frontiers of faith, reason and culture.

Elements of the Mission:

  • As a university, Regis draws from wellsprings of ancient wisdom and explores new horizons of thought and imagination to pursue truth, strive for justice, and cultivate beauty.  In everything, Regis shepherds the development of the whole person in relation to the common good, asking, “How ought we to live?”

  • As Catholic, part of a global community of faith called to celebrate and embody God’s love in the world, Regis educates diverse students for lives of service and meaning, equips them with knowledge and skills to be discerning persons in solidarity with others, especially all who are poor or whose dignity has been violated, and empowers them to care for the Earth, our common home.

  • As Jesuit, rooted in an Ignatian spirituality of Christian discipleship and open to the sacred in all human cultures, Regis aspires to be a community of learners who labor for a transformed world and renewed ecosystem, and who journey as companions, responsible to each other.

This faculty or staff member has maintained an abiding interest in the Jesuit vision and exhibits a value-centered commitment to Regis University students and his/her coworkers.

CURA PERSONALIS SERVICE AWARD
Criteria: The Cura Personalis Award celebrates employees who exemplify the Jesuit principle of "care for the whole person" in their daily work and interactions. This recognition honors staff and faculty members – from operations to administration and academics – who create a more caring and supportive workplace environment. Recipients of this award demonstrate exceptional attention to the physical, emotional and personal well-being of their colleagues, understanding that every member of our community brings unique experiences, challenges, and gifts to their role.

Through their actions, whether through maintaining our campus spaces, serving our community, or teaching our students, these individuals embody the spirit of companionship and holistic development that defines our Jesuit mission. They are the ones who consistently go beyond their formal duties to support, mentor and care for others, helping to build a workplace culture that truly values each person's dignity and unique contributions to our institution.

Please submit your nomination(s) electronically by noon, Feb. 28, 2025.
