Share Your Disability Story for Accessibility Day 2025
Dear Faculty and Staff,
As we prepare for Regis University’s first Accessibility Day on April 9, we invite you to share your personal experiences and stories about disability. Your stories can help foster disability pride, increase awareness, and create a sense of belonging for our students with disabilities.
We are looking for stories that represent the diversity of disability experiences, including both visible and invisible* disabilities.
By sharing your journey, you will help show our students that the Regis community is committed to inclusivity and support. Stories can be shared in written or video format, and we welcome perspectives from all Regis faculty and staff. The deadline to share is Wednesday, March 12.
Questions? Please contact Grace Herbison at gherbison@regis.edu.
Thank you for helping us make Accessibility Day a meaningful and empowering event!
*Invisible disabilities are not necessarily apparent from the outside and may include, but are not limited to, chronic illness, mental health conditions, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities and sensory or processing difficulties.
