Update to the Windows 11 upgrade project

The IT Department wants to provide an update on the Windows 11 upgrade project. The IT Department is pausing the current upgrade initiative while we develop a more efficient and streamlined way to deploy Windows 11 across campus.

As part of this pause, all existing Windows 11 upgrade tickets will be closed, and no action is required on your part at this time.

We’re also pleased to confirm that Windows 10 licenses have been secured and will continue to receive updates, so you can continue working safely without interruption while they finalize the new upgrade process.

When the new method is ready, Windows 11 upgrades will be available for you, allowing you to install the update at a time that is convenient for you. The IT Department will share detailed instructions and timelines once this option becomes available.
