Sign up to serve at the St. Elizabeth's Sandwich Line

The Office of Mission will be sponsoring several opportunities for Regis employees to serve at the soup and sandwich line at historic St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, on the Auraria Campus. The Mission Office has committed to organizing 4 to 5 Regis volunteers on Nov. 7, 14, and 21, and Dec. 5, 12 and 19. A van will leave the Northwest Denver Campus at 8:30 a.m. and return by 12:15 p.m.

Duties include:

  • Prepping 2 big pots of soup for 60 to 75 individuals (food supplied on site)
  • Prepping bagged lunches
  • Setting out other food and drink items
  • Maintaining food safety standards
  • Setting up tables in the alley
  • Cleaning up, and sorting food and clothing donations
 

Ideally, Mission encourages 4 to 5 colleagues from the same department/college/etc. to volunteer together on a given Friday, with a member of the Mission Team accompanying your group. Departments and individuals are welcome to pair up as well.
