It's Norovirus Season!

Have you noticed some of your classes seem a little empty lately? Maybe seen a few of your colleagues looking a bit grey in the face? Well, you aren’t imagining things! Norovirus season is back early and with a vengeance. Norovirus is very contagious, so it is important to take precautions to protect yourself and others.

Fact: Once someone has been infected and exhibited symptoms of the virus (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps), they are still contagious for up to 48 hours after “feeling well” again.

To avoid infecting others, sick individuals should stay home for at least 48 hours after their last symptom subsides.

Here are some tips on how to stop the spread of this unpleasant illness within the Regis community and beyond.
