Regis Gives 2026 Matches and Challenges

Major Campaign Match:

  • Thanks to a very generous alumnus, gifts to Regis Gives will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $150,000* throughout the campaign.

Tuesday, March 31

  • Starting Strong: The project with the most gifts from unique donors will receive $500. Eligible gifts must be given between 12:01 a.m. MST on Tuesday, March 31 and 11:59 p.m. MST on Monday, April 6.

Day 1: Tuesday, April 7

  • Race to 25 Challenge: The first three projects to receive online gifts from 25 unique donors will receive a $250 bonus.
  • Hidden Regi Challenge: Regi stuffed animals (6) will be hidden around the Regis Northwest campus for Regis Gives. Students who find a stuffed Regi, should follow the instructions on the tag to earn money for the Regis Gives project(s) of their choice. Students get to keep the stuffed Regi!
  • Lunchtime Challenge: The project that secures the most unique donors during lunchtime, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. MST on Tuesday, April 7, will receive a $500 bonus.
  • Rangers’ Choice: Regis students, faculty, and staff will vote for their favorite projects online and during a live campus activation, Cookies & Community, at the Student Center between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. MST. The project with the most votes will receive $1,000; second place, $500; third place, $250.

Day 2: Wednesday, April 8

  • Early Bird Challenge: The first project to receive $250 in gifts on Wednesday, April 8 (after 12:01 a.m. MST) will unlock a gift of $250 Regis Gives Fund.
  • Online Lunchtime Challenge: The project that secures the most unique donors during lunchtime, noon – 1:30 p.m. MST, on Wednesday, April 8, will receive a $500 bonus.

Both Days:

  • First-time Donor Challenge: The project that secures the most online gifts from first-time donors to Regis will receive a $500 bonus.
  • Friends Challenge: The two projects that secure the most online gifts from friends of Regis will receive a $250 bonus.
  • Parents Challenge: The two projects that secure the most online gifts from Regis parents will receive a $250 bonus.
  • Alumni Project Challenge: The two projects that secure the most online gifts from Regis alumni will receive a $250 bonus.
  • Regis Ranger Challenge: The two projects that secure the most online gifts from current Regis students will receive a $250 bonus.
  • Culture of Philanthropy Challenge: Incoming Regis President Dr. Shawna Cooper Whitehead and the Senior Leadership Team will match gifts from faculty and staff. Stay tuned for a special announcement.

Social Media Challenges

  • LinkedIn challenge: Help spread the word! Look for our Regis Gives challenge on the Regis University Alumni LinkedIn page starting on April 7. Two randomly selected participants will earn a $250 bonus to the Regis Gives project of their choice.
  • Instagram challenge: Help spread the word! Look for our Regis Gives challenge on the Regis University Alumni Instagram starting on April 7. Two randomly selected participants will earn a $250 bonus to the Regis Gives project of their choice.
  • Facebook challenge: Help spread the word! Look for our Regis Gives challenge on the Regis University Alumni Facebook page starting on April 7. Two randomly selected participants will earn a $250 bonus to the Regis Gives project of their choice.

*Gifts made online between 12:01 am MST on Tuesday, March 31 and 11:59 pm MST on Wednesday, April 8 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, as will gifts made in response to a promotional mailing, pending availability of remaining funds. Every project is eligible for a maximum of $10,000 in matching lead gift(s) received by March 30 at 5 pm. Additional lead gifts will be matched at an equal ratio across all projects, determined by the amount of matching funds available, if any, after online, direct mail responses, and initial lead gifts are processed.
