DeSmet Hall Emergency Repair Sept. 15

The Physical Plant is sharing an emergency repair alert to the University. Upon utility inspection to our main gas line feed to DeSmet Halls Boiler room, they found a leak in the interior wall of the building. Xcel determined the leak needed to be repaired immediately. Xcel is providing backup gas service from mobile trucks while they repair the line. Repairs will be done all day today and overnight until completion.  Other facilities will not be affected.

Please avoid the east side of DeSmet Hall, access to parking will be allowed. Please follow direction from site workers from Xcel while in and around this area. Use caution when walking in and around this area.
