Dayton Memorial Library Committees and Councils

Library Faculty Council
The council addresses all matters related to library faculty status and shared governance.

Library Disaster Planning Committee
Responsible for review and documentation of emergency and safety protocols related to the library building, physical collections, library employees, and patrons.

DML Library Handbook Committee
Responsible for the periodic review and revision of the Library Faculty Handbook in consultation with the members of the library faculty.

Library Committee on Rank and Promotion
The committee facilitates performance reviews and applications for promotion in rank for individual faculty members in accordance with the processes and timelines delineated in the library faculty handbook.

Library Information Technology Team (LITT)
LITT is composed of faculty and staff members from across the library who work together to make decisions related to user interfaces and user experience for public facing library systems.

Library Web Committee
Responsible for administration of the library's content management system and general oversight of the library's web site. Recommends best practices to web page and guide editors.

DML Library Outreach and Diversity Committee
Composed of faculty and staff members from across the library who work together to identify, organize, and execute outreach efforts and programming that promotes awareness of library services and resources and supports community belongingness.
