University Wide Senate
The University-Wide Senate is comprised of faculty members of the three colleges and the Dayton Memorial Library. The Senate is the representative body that develops and articulates clear and informed faculty positions on matters of concern to the faculty, including but not limited to curriculum, academic policy, and support of academic endeavors. To perform this function, the Senate shall review all new policies and proposed changes to existing policies that affect faculty before such policies are approved by university administrators. The Senate and individual Senators shall act and make decisions that consider the strategic interests of the entire Regis University faculty which includes all persons identified as ranked and unranked faculty. Thus, the Senate works to enhance shared governance and transparency.
Meeting Schedule
Regularly scheduled Senate meetings will be the second Wednesday of the month at 3:30-5 p.m. in DML 202 unless otherwise stated below.
