• Thank you to ALL the volunteers and to all faculty and staff who made commencement a success. Our primary job is to show up for students, and I’m grateful for all who did and do.

• Please access updates from Teaching and Learning Excellence. As a reminder, we will keep this site active with new and helpful information. A variety of teaching, advising, faculty in discernment and other resources are available!

• Also from TLE: We’ve enabled Turnitin’s AI writing detection feature. From now on, submissions to Turnitin will automatically include an AI writing indicator within the Similarity Report. This information is only visible to instructors, it is not shared with students.
  
  This tool is intended to help flag text that may have been generated by AI tools. As with any automated system, the results are not perfect. The tool may occasionally flag work incorrectly or miss AI-generated content. For that reason, we encourage you to use it in conjunction with your own judgment and familiarity with your students’ work. It is not a definitive measure of academic dishonesty and should not be used as the sole basis for decisions about a student’s work. Your professional judgment remains essential.

• The National Poetry Month exhibit in the library is in the Fireside Lounge through May 30th. It features poetry by Regis faculty, students and alumni! Curated by Kate Burns (DML).

• Congrats to Eric Fretz (Regis College) for completing his documentary on punk rock and activism in Romania. You can check out the film here.

• A reminder that the Provost has open office hours each Monday 9-10 a.m. and Thursday 2-3 p.m. at the main campus, and Thursdays 5-6 p.m. at the Thornton campus. If those times are not convenient, please reach out to set up a time to connect.
