A Letter from Dr. Karen Riley

Good Morning Colleagues,

As our days get shorter and we feel a bit of coolness in the air, I have been reminded about the impressive beauty of our state and the blessing of the change of seasons. Thank you all for your continued support of one another and of our students. I want to personally thank all of you who attended the town halls this week. I appreciated your candid questions and loved hearing some of your great ideas for moving forward. We will continue this type of open forum and will be sharing times for office hours as well

The content of this week's Digest comes to us mostly from our Instructional Design & Technology Team, led by Dr. Heidi Blair. Their work, fostering a culture of continuous improvement of teaching and learning at Regis, is crucial. If you haven't taken advantage of the resources, training or support they provide, I highly recommend you take a look. Like all of you, they have also gone "above and beyond" throughout the pandemic, to ensure that faculty and students have what they need to teach and learn well.

A few folks have asked about employee testing for COVID-19. It is available for employees at the Student Health Center. While students can schedule appointments online, employees can schedule an appointment by calling them: (303) 458-3558. And in case you missed it on OneRegis, here is some additional information regarding our current COVID-19 protocols.

This weekend I am looking forward to celebrating our inaugural Blue and Gold Weekend! I am excited to help welcome many of our alumni back to campus, as well as the parents and families of our current students. The schedule is jam-packed with fun activities, it is sure to be a great time. Congratulations to our colleagues in Student Affairs, Athletics, and Advancement/Alumni Engagement for all of their hard work. My gratitude as well to our colleagues in Mission for the wonderful celebration of the Mass of the Holy Spirit this week.

Thank you for continuing to send us your celebrations, research and publications- we love receiving them! You can keep them coming to provost@regis.edu, along with any other feedback or suggestions.

I hope you enjoy these final days of the summer season; Fall will officially be here soon.

Thank you for your great work every day on behalf of our students.

Sincerely,
