Regis University Academic Council (RUAC) Update

The Regis University Academic Council (RUAC) is the faculty body that presides over the academic governance of Regis University and makes formal recommendations to the Provost on University academic matters. RUAC is charged with ensuring the quality and rigor of programs, majors, and certificates.

RUAC is faculty-driven and faculty-led, exercising the faculty role of academic governance. One of the primary responsibilities of the Regis faculty in implementing the educational goals of the University is to assume a major role in determining degree requirements, appropriate curricula, methods of instruction, faculty status, assessment of student learning and those aspects of student life that relate to the educational process.

RUAC meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month and is open to the community. All RUAC decisions from the previous month will be posted in the Provost's Digest.
